Alpha

Is there more to life than this?

The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening, low key way.

It is a course that is friendly and fun!

During the sessions there are opportunities to listen, learn, discuss and discover the aspects of the Christian Faith.

Ask anything! Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile!

Who is Alpha for?

Everyone is welcome on an Alpha Course!

People come for a wide variety of reasons.

Some want to investigate whether God exists and if there is any point to life; others are concerned about what happens after death.

Still, others may have attended church on and off all their lives but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith.

People come from many different viewpoints – but we all come with the same objective: To explore the questions of life and the relevance of the Christian faith for our lives today.

When is Alpha on?

The first session of Alpha is being held on Tuesday 24th March, 7:30pm at Hope Presbyterian Hornby, 27 Amyes Road. There will be an opportunity to meet other guests, meet the leaders, share some yummy dessert (free!), and sign up for the rest of the course which will be hosted in homes in the wider Hornby area. The course will finish on Tuesday 26th May.

Tuesdays - 7:30 pm (March 24 - May 26)
