THE 100 CLUB

Thank you for prayerfully considering being a part of THE 100 CLUB for the Rolleston Building project. We believe this project represents a heart for this community, a home for God’s people at Hope, and a legacy of testimony to God’s work in and through His people.

We also continue to hold onto the belief that as we step through this building phase, that as God builds the physical building, he is more interested in building His people together as a spiritual house for him. As we progress through the building, we have been reminded of the following scripture:

I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:4-8

We firstly want to give thanks to the Lord for the way that he has encouraged his people to cover this project with prayer and for bringing the right gifts, expertise, and resources to make this project possible.

We also come before you to bring a specific request. In April 2023 we will need some more financial resources to continue this project and so we are asking you to be praying specifically that God will continue to provide.

We are also asking for you to consider being part of the 100 Club – 100 people giving $3,000 towards this project. The key to this project getting over the line will be for us as a church to step out in unity as this project represents a group of people coming together, combining their resources to make a big dent in the funds to be raised.

We know that we have asked for people to give towards this project and have been so blessed by your generosity. We are simply asking that if you have the capability, to ask the Lord if this is something that he would like for you to be involved in.

We are also aware that a few people are new to Hope Presbyterian and you may not have had the opportunity to give to this project, so we would ask for you to consider joining the 100 club or maybe looking at taking two or three people’s spots as we look to see the building being completed: A Heart, A Home and A Legacy.

Hi Hope Church family!

We have enjoyed keeping our Hope Family informed about what has been happening at Hope Rolleston over the last few months and we want to keep you ‘in the loop’ about what is coming up.

One of the recent developments that you may have missed is the launch of the building fund for the Rolleston build on Sunday 13th March. We are at the exciting phase of looking to finalise the build costs which involves tendering, while confirming our available resources. As we look forward, we also thank God for his leading and provision to date as we have celebrated the completion of the first two phases of the building project –the orphanage at Sano Diyo and the Hope West Melton church building.

We thank God that he has been faithful during the journey over the last few years. As we begin to look forward into the future, we stand in the confidence of knowing that our Heavenly Father is Jehovah Jireh — our provider.

As we enter this phase, we remember that this building represents to us three things:

  1. A Legacy
  2. A Home
  3. A Heart

Please watch the video below for an explanation on what these three things mean for us as a church as we step into this exciting final phase of Building Hope.
