Hope Rolleston is a Christian church which began meeting in Rolleston back in 2011.Hope Rolleston is involved in many ways in the Rolleston community. We think that Rolleston is a great place to live but as a community that has grown so quickly recently there are still some gaps in services and facilities. Some of the ways we are involved in the Rolleston community as a Church are:
We meet as a Church from 9:45am for coffee with the service starting at 10am at the school hall of Rolleston Primary School.
Time 4 Mums
This group is for young mums who meet the first and third Wednesday at 10am to noon at the Rolleston community centre.
We have a number of small groups that meet on week nights in homes in Rolleston.
GEMS (Girls Empowering Mentoring and Serving)
For young girls we run this group on Thursdays at 4:45pm to 6pm at the Rolleston Community Centre.
For Intermediates (Years 7,8) on alternate Friday nights this group meets each week from 7pm to 8:45pm.
Once a month on the second Tuesday we meet as a group of guys from 7:30pm to 9pm.
We take in young people to Hornby to be part of an evening service run at the Hope Hornby site.
Conferences and Events
Along with the other congregations we are part of in West Melton, Hornby and Halkett there are regular conferences we are part of including women’s conference, men’s camp, marriage enrichment, play groups and breakfast events.
